Suspension Of Activities In Libya
It is, with regret, that during these turbulent times in the Middle East and Africa that Show Carriage announces the temporary closure of its office in Libya.
In close liaison with our staff on the ground in Libyait is untenable at this time for them to continue servicing the existing workload. The Al Buwaba Al Libya office remains in tact but is closed until further notice.
We can report that our personnel on the ground are all well and keeping a low profile. Food and fuel is in very short supply but at the moment if one is prepared to wait for many hours, and can dodge the fire it can be bought, but prices have risen sharply.
We all hope that a peaceful outcome will be achieved very soon, and will up-to-date news from the ground as and when we have it.
The vibes are that the Libya Build Exhibition will go ahead as scheduled in October 2011 and who knows may be bigger than ever. This could be fool hardy optimism, however we will endeavour to get what information we can from our sources and keep our news item as up-to-date as possible.
