Packing

To make sure your goods are protected, we recommend the strongest packing you can afford. The average exhibition crate is handled over 50 times between collection and delivery (if shipped by air), and may at times be subjected to the elements (when coming off the aircraft, for example). So make sure it is strong and durable.

Some countries (including Australia, Brazil, India, China, Korea and USA) also insist on fumigating cargo before shipment. We will be one of the first to know about changes in regulations, so please get in touch and we can advise you.

Once the event is over, we will return your crates for you to re-pack your goods. Do not forget, the return journey is just as tough as the outward one: make sure you pack everything with equal care. Imagine you had to pack an egg suitably for the rigours of transportation, and ask yourself if your packing material both inside and out is up to the job.

Pallets

Palletised shipments are ideal for keeping small boxes together (although they don't stack, which can be difficult)  We can assist with this type of consolidation whtin our specialist warehouse facility.  Pallets are usually delivered using fork-lift pallet trucks, so the batons underneath must be the right distance apart for the forks. We can make this an easy process for you by  providing a palletised re-usable carton for loose items - just ask about Carriage Box.
