HOW SHOW CARRIAGE CAN ASSIST YOU IN WINNING BUSINESS OVERSEAS IN TROUBLED TIMES

Whatever is happening out there? Banks failing, countries economies going to pot, the media predicting gloom and doom with the economic downturn, the pound taking a tumble.

Rather than being negative, let’s be positive – there may be some real opportunities to capitalise on. With the pound dropping in value, container ships having excess capacity, freight rates both inbound and outbound being reduced, together with fuel surcharges cut to reflect lower oil prices, we are seeing opportunities where UK companies can succeed. We feel that, providing the product is right, and that there is the ability to deliver in a timely manner, this gives us all a chance to co-operate in sharing common costs to drive competitive advantage.

If you are a Stand Builder or a Project Manager, with a design team that will work overseas, the freefall of the pound coupled with lower transportation costs may work for you.  Rather than having a local company at destination build for you, paying them in local currency, why not look to respond by transporting from the UK. Show Carriage Limited has representation in over 50 countries worldwide and has access to both skilled and unskilled labour overseas and is always readily available. By embracing these synergies in creating a truly integrated logistics partnership we can work together in delivering quality and value.

Resolving issues can include:

  • Advance Planning - providing the right mode of transport and deadlines for the job.
  • Costing - providing an all inclusive cost
  • Sole use and shared transport
  • Documentation
  • Temporary Import Facilities
  • On Site Delivery Installation and Representation
  • Return and Onward Shipping
  • Insurance
  • Storage Between Events

Clearly there is no remedy for instantly rectifying the current economic slowdown.  The above are just a few of the tools that in partnership with Show Carriage,we can assist you through this current challenging period.

Ultimately it is the joint professionalism and commitment to our industry that will support UK companies import and export and domestic activity not only at these present times, but most importantly, when the global economy begins to recover.

When you next come to plan on transporting to an International event  please feel free to call us. Our advice is free. We look forward to being of assistance to you.

FUEL SURCHARGES

Please be aware of current fluctuations in the cost of aviation fuel, and are passed onto us by transport carriers kindly. Kindly check with us rates applicable at the time of booking.  They do change month to month.

Any changes in charges will be reflected in our final invoice to you and should fuel prices return to previous levels the surcharges will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly.  We apologise for this inconvenience but are dictated to by market forces.
