Show Carriage have had a long standing appointment to co-ordinate worldwide freight movements attending the  American Association of Petroleum Geologists International exhibitions and conferences worldwide.

This Trade Association - based in Tulsa, Oklahoma - have appointed Show Carriage to co-ordinate all freight to such varied destinations including Athens, Birmingham, Barcelona, Cape Town, Perth, Paris and Rio de Janeiro.

The work starts from the moment the venue is decided.  The AAPG liaise with Show Carriage at the very early stages to enable us to check out the venue, country and customs requirements.  The Association rely heavily upon Show Carriage's expertise to advise how soon to ship the freight, the most cost effective routing as well as the most reliable.

Working with a local agent at origin, Show Carriage are able to operate a package concept as part of a single source responsibility service.  Show Carriage then utilize the services of their appointed service partner within the destination country to customs clear and transfer under bond the temporary imported items, thus allowing these goods to enter the designated country free of local duties and taxes.  The Show Carriage representative will then supervise the final delivery of the goods to the venue and take care of the on site handling needs of individual exhibitors.  Meanwhile the Association itself can be free to concentrate on the overall success of the event.  In partnership with Show Carriage, AAPG are assured of a reliable, experienced and professional team accountable to them.

The unique hands-on involvement of Show Carriage alleviates the Trade Association from the responsibility of goods and stand material arriving at the venue, as well as exhibits being delivered and all the complexities of customs clearance and empty case storage.  More importantly on site they will be the only company moving equipment within and around the halls, thus reducing the risk of damage to the stands and carpets.
